A little bit about the founder...
Growing up on a farm "The Moss" in the North West of England, I experienced, as a young observer and contributor, the challenges of running a family business that required grit, determination and commitment in an environment that was unpredictable and unforgiving.
When I started in recruitment over 20 years ago I never really considered that much of my upbringing prepared me for life in the corporate world, not in a direct sense anyway. But, with time, I’ve come to recognise the value in the lessons that it taught me; what’s actually important:
Integrity – That showing up matters, that humility is powerful and that my word should carry weight.
Resilience – That even in the toughest times, I have to keep going towards what is right.
Authenticity – Choose to be honest and understand that nobody cares what I’m saying if it isn’t also what I’m doing.
These principles are the foundation of Drexel Moss and will continue to shape the way in which I show up for the people that put their trust in me. How I won’t give up on the things that matter and how I’ll navigate the wonderfully unpredictable (and often unforgiving) landscape of people, business and recruitment.
